Exporting and Importing Bookmarks and Passwords in Chrome

Bookmarks

Exporting:

  1. In Chrome, click the three dots in the top right corner
  2. Select Bookmarks & Lists and then Bookmark Manager
  3. In the top right corner of the bookmarks window, click the three dots (not for Chrome, but for Bookmarks section), select Export Bookmarks
  4. Choose the file location and save
  5. Upload it to your OneDrive account

Importing:

  1. In Chrome, click the three dots in the top right corner
  2. Select Bookmarks and then Bookmark Manager
  3. In the top right corner of the bookmarks window, click the three dots (not for Chrome, but for Bookmarks section), select Import Bookmarks
  4. Choose the file that you saved from above; it should be in your OneDrive folder


Passwords

Exporting:

  1. In Chrome, click the three dots in the top right, and then select Passwords then Google Password Manager
  2. Select Settings on the left hand side
  3. Under the Settings section, select Download File by Export Passwords
  4. Enter your Windows password (the one you use to unlock your laptop)
  5. Choose the file location and save
  6. Upload that file to your OneDrive account

Importing:

  1. In Chrome, click the three dots in the top right corner, and then select Pass3words then Google Password Manager
  2. Select Settings on the left hand side
  3. Under the Settings section, click Select File by Import Passwords
  4. Locate the file you saved from above; it should be in your OneDrive folder
