No sound whatsoever

No sound whatsoever

Please follow this guide if you've determined that no sound is coming from any of your computer audio sources, despite confirming that it is not paused.

To do this, we'll be reinstalling the computer audio driver.

1. Start by clicking on the magnifying glass on the bottom left corner of the screen and typing in Device Manager. The start menu will then show the Device Manager application. Click on it.

2. Now that 'Device Manager' is open, double click on 'Audio inputs and outputs.'

3. Right click on your audio outputs (they will have a little speaker icon next to them) and select Update driver.

4. Now click on 'Search automatically for drivers.'

5. If a pop up appears saying 'The best drivers for your device are already installed,' then hit close. Otherwise, restart your computer and check your audio once again.

6. Once you've hit close, right click on the output devices and hit 'Uninstall device,' then 'Uninstall.'

7. Now restart your computer, and a driver will reinstall during this time. Check to see if the audio now works.
