Outlook error "Cannot Start Microsoft Outlook. Invalid XML..."

This error occurs when Outlook is not closed properly or after a computer crash.

Steps to resolve:

1. Close the error window

2. Click the Start button and type into the search filed: Outlook.exe /resetnavpane

Note: There is a space between outlook.exe and /resetnavpane

4. Hit Enter on the search bar and Outlook should start normally
